Patterns, colours and angles.

One of my favourite things to do, to create structure in the paint. It creates a movement and makes the other parts of the painting really pop.

Made some progress in the studio today. Right now I’m totally hooked on patterns and mixing and experimenting with colours and what happens when you put them next to each other.

Here is a little tour of my art studio. It’s actually twice the size that usually show in pictures! I share it with three other artists but for the most part I’m the only one who’s here. They had this studio for over 20 years and I’m so grateful they let me in! When I’m old and grey I will have this whole space to myself, but until then I’m really glad I get to share it with @axel_art_varnamo, Björn and Maria!

Sizerefrence and her new frame! I bought two of these frames at the fleamarket (35 kr!) and just had to put new canvases on them. This is the result of the first one. Thinking about painting another girl looking the other way so you can hang them together, looking at each other.

Monday, and back in the studio! 🙌

The core of my business is the lonely part, that I can work in silence with just my own thoughts as my company. And if my mind gets to loud, just take a walk and let your thoughts fly free

I have a year when I say no to all galleries and exhibitions. I just want to focus on my time in the studio, working without a deadline and a year full of new inspiration. I’m going to New York this fall and I can’t wait! But I already missing the excitement of having an exhibition, all the people and you get to feel like a superstar for a night! So maybe this pause won’t be forever…
